Server side state management

1) session
    -> store and retrive information about the user as user navigates from one page to another page
   
2) application
    -> store information which is shared among user
    -> application state is stored in the memory of the windows process
    -> storing small amount of often -used data
    -> for increase the response time/performance

3) profile
    -> it is per user setting
    -> profiles can be configured ,set and automatically stored and maintained in a database
